2nd Grade Reading Initiative Program
Since 2020, United Way Space Coast has partnered with Brevard Public Schools’ Office of Title I to launch the 2nd Grade Reading incentive program in 15 local schools.
We provide reading incentives that help teachers stock their classroom “treasure boxes” with fun rewards. These prizes motivate kids to read more, complete iReady lessons, and build a love of reading that lasts.
Student progress is tracked through participation and diagnostic scores, but the biggest success is seeing kids excited to learn and proud of what they’ve achieved.
