A New Season, A Shared Goal

“Coach” Superintendent Dr. Mark Rendell, serving as this year’s campaign chair, took the field to announce an ambitious goal: raising $4.5 million to strengthen Brevard’s children, families, and communities.
“I believe in the power of community, and this campaign is our chance to come together as a team for Brevard's children and families,” said Rendell. “The United Way supports 33 local partner agencies that directly impact the lives of children, families, and neighbors across Brevard. I've seen firsthand how these programs touch our schools and strengthen the fabric of our county.”

Teamwork in Action

The kickoff program brought together business and community leaders for a morning filled with inspiration, friendly challenges, and game-day fun. A mini press conference-style panel, featuring representatives from L3Harris, Space Florida, Publix, and Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, shared best practices and creative strategies for running successful workplace campaigns.
Guests also enjoyed themed photo opportunities and stories that showcased how local lives are being changed through United Way’s partnerships and initiatives.

United for a Brighter Future

The 2025 campaign ushers in a new era for United Way Space Coast, building on a proud legacy of service while embracing fresh energy and bold ideas for the future.
“As a board, we are inspired by the collective power of this community,” said Jackie Barker, board chair of United Way Space Coast. “When people, businesses, and organizations come together, we create lasting change for children and families across Brevard. This campaign is about uniting around that shared purpose.”
Caron Partridge, president of United Way Space Coast, added, “This campaign kickoff is more than an event. It’s the start of a season of teamwork and possibility. I'm excited to see what we will accomplish together in the year ahead.”

Ready for a Winning Season

Together, we’re ready for a winning season — one where every dollar raised helps change lives and strengthen our community.

United is the way we rally together to change lives and strengthen our community.
