United Way Space Coast Raises $4.3 Million to Support Local Community Through Annual Workplace Campaign
We celebrated a remarkable year of impact at its 2025 Workplace Campaign Celebration & Awards, announcing a total of $4.3 million raised to support critical programs and services across Brevard County.
Impact by the Numbers
• 489,000+ basic needs services provided
• 10,000+ youth supported through mentoring and education
• 10,000+ individuals, including seniors and people with disabilities, received critical support
The annual event brought together business leaders, nonprofit partners, and community members to recognize the collective efforts that make United Way’s mission possible—changing lives and strengthening communities.
“This is what happens when a community comes together,” said Campaign Chair Dr. Mark Rendell. “Every dollar raised represents a life impacted — families supported, children served, and seniors able to remain independent. This success belongs to everyone who stepped up.”
Funds raised through the Workplace Campaign stay local, supporting a network of partner agencies and United Way initiatives providing essential services including food, shelter, mentoring, and access to education.
The event honored top-performing workplace campaigns and community partners whose contributions drove this year’s success.
Top honors included:
• Million Dollar Circle: Publix Supermarkets and L3Harris
• Legendary Champion: Publix Supermarkets
• Elite Challenger: Bechtel National Corporation
• Rising Star: Aeronix, Inc.
• Rookie of the Year: Ivey’s Construction
A special Non-Profit Impact Award was presented to BAC (formally known as Brevard Achievement Center) for its extraordinary leadership in voluntarily stepping away from United Way funding—freeing more than $100,000 annually to support other agencies—while continuing to give back through its own workplace campaign.
