Second Harvest Food Bank Volunteer

Description
Volunteers are needed to help sort donated goods from local grocery stores into family boxes, which will be picked up by partner agencies and distributed to individuals and families facing food insecurity in the community.


This opportunity is available every Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Volunteers must be at least 10 years old to participate. Volunteers aged 10-15 must be accompanied by an adult and fully registered.

After signing up for this opportunity through the United Way Space Coast portal, volunteers can select a shift through the provided link. Only a signed waiver is required upon registration.

Groups of 5 to 15 are encouraged to contact the Development Manager for a dedicated sign-up link for their group. Email rroffman@feedhopenow.org to begin the process of reserving your shift. Both individual and groups may self-register through the link. The maximum number of volunteers for any one shift is 15 people.
